What's your style and approach?
Our approach lives somewhere between documentary and editorial, or "loose editorial". It sits between pure documentary/candid coverage and highly posed editorial work. Throughout shoots we are fully present, guiding you into beautiful light and giving you direction. We love lots of movement during a photo session. But we also love to focus on real, candid moments as they unfold naturally too, in between those posed shots.
Do you retouch or edit the photos?
Yes! Every single image in your final gallery is edited in the style you see on our website. That includes colour correction, tone adjustments, cropping, straightening, sharpening, and black and white conversions. Beyond that, we take care of gentle retouching to soften any temporary distractions or anything that might draw the eye away from the moment itself. We want you to look and feel your absolute best, while still looking completely and recognisably like yourself. Nothing overdone, nothing artificial.
