French Riviera | Provence | Europe & Beyond

We met in 2011 when we were eighteen. After we got engaged, we hit the road full-time with a dream of chasing adventures and building our lives around travel. Photography quickly became the way we experienced the world together, and those early years shaped our photography career as travel photographers. Our work brought us to over 160 countries.

Damascus, Syria. Capturing daily life and light during an organised experience with Syria Scope Travel.

Pyramids of Meroë, Sudan. Sunrise over Sudanese pyramids, visual documentation created for Travel Sudan Tours.
Lac Abbé, Djibouti. Documentary photography produced for BAMBU Service Touristik.
Taktsang Monastery, Bhutan. Photographing daily life at this sacred cliffside monastery in the Himalayas working with Third Rock Adventures.
Palau. Aerial photography produced for Pacific Mission Aviation Palau
Patagonia, Chile. Dawn breaking across ice and granite in one of earth’s last wild frontiers.

During that time, we worked primarily with hotels, resorts, tour companies and tourism boards, using our passion for photography to capture places and experiences through our lens. But over time, as the destinations added up, our perspective shifted. We realised that happiness didn't lie in any of those destinations or how far we travelled, but in the connections we have built with others and in all the small moments along the way. That’s why we have found our way to a career that truly allows us to build connections with people.

This happy accident of becoming photographers unfolded from our fierce pursuit of happiness and finding it right in front of us—in the stories we have been fortunate enough to be welcomed into and the people we’ve met.

Witnessing their lives, and forming real human connections. Photography became the way we experienced, honoured, and preserved those moments.

This is the heart behind what we do.

Authentic moments mean the most to us and we understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera. That’s why we’ve worked hard to discover the best tricks to help cultivate real emotions and be sure you’re comfortable and having fun. All you have to do is be your weird, vulnerable, imperfect self, and we’ll do the same.

Meet Anita

I’m Anita, your lead photographer. The Mediterranean has been my home since the winter of 2020 when we moved to Nice, just a few days before my 27th birthday. However, my heritage and roots trace back to Hawai‘i, where I was born and raised on the island of O‘ahu. Though it has been a long time since I left my little island, it remains a deep part of who I am.

Growing up in Hawai’i, I developed a deep connection to the land (ʻāina), the ocean, and the traditions passed down through generations. Although there is still so much of the world I want to see before I one day return home, I think that deep-rooted connection to nature is the reason why I’ve found my way to the slow, intentional rhythm of Mediterranean life.

Outside of photography, my greatest joy is being in nature, whether it’s hiking, surfing, or simply spending a quiet day by the sea, doing nothing at all.

Meet Jean-Claude

Bonjour, I’m Jean-Claude, the secondary photographer in our husband-and-wife duo. My love for photography began while travelling the world with Anita, capturing the beauty of different cultures and landscapes.

Born and raised in the South of France, my family has always called this beautiful region home. The French Riviera isn’t just our backdrop, it’s part of my story and I would love to also share the magic of this place we’re so lucky to call home.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me outdoors hiking, playing football, or on a mission to find the best croissants and brioche in Nice.
