Maternity Shoot in Èze Village and Èze-sur-Mer Beach

This maternity shoot was in late June with M and M and took place in both Èze and Èze-sur-Mer. M reached out because she was pregnant and wanted a session that combined two different locations in a single hour to give a variety of backgrounds. We planned the shoot carefully to make the most of the lighting and scenery.

Èze Village

We began in the village of Èze. The town offers charming narrow streets, colourful buildings, and small alleyways, which provide multiple shooting options in a compact area.

Olive Terrace

One of the spots we focused on is a terrace that we call the "olive terrace." It is a small elevated area in Èze where the light in the early evening or near sunset is particularly soft and flattering. M wore a white dress and pink kimono, which complemented the warm light and contrasted beautifully with the muted tones of the town's architecture.

We also captured photos from a viewpoint nearby, which gives a clear view of the surrounding hillside and town.

After shooting in Èze, we moved down to Èze-sur-Mer. The drive is only about ten minutes, which makes it easy to combine the two locations without losing time. Once in Èze-sur-Mer, we walked to the beach. The change in landscape was striking, moving from the hilltop village to the open coastline.

Sunset Beach Photos

Here, M wore a bikini for some ocean shots, and we also captured more images with the kimono. The soft sunset light at this time of day added a natural glow to the photos and enhanced the softness of the colours.

M and M were a relaxed throughout the session, which made capturing natural moments easy. M looked radiant and confident, and the shoot highlighted the beauty and strength of pregnancy. The combination of the village, terrace, and beach provided a wide range of compositions, from intimate streets to expansive seascapes.

Overall, the timing, locations, and lighting all worked together to create a variety of images in a short period. The photos reflect both the couple’s connection and the natural elegance of maternity, and the final gallery includes shots that are both visually striking and personally meaningful.
