Are engagement or couples sessions included?
We're very happy to include a pre-wedding session as part of your booking, and we genuinely encourage it. Spending an hour or two together before the wedding day is one of our favourite
things to do. It gives you a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera in a relaxed, low-stakes setting, and it gives us a chance to get to know you properly. The couples who come into their wedding day having
already shot with us always seem that little bit more at ease, and it really shows in the photographs.
We're having a small wedding or elopement. Do you cover those?
We love them, truly. Some of the most tender and beautiful work we've ever created has been at the most intimate of celebrations— just two people, a stunning location, and a handful of
people who matter most. There's a freedom and an emotional honesty to smaller weddings that is very hard to replicate. If this sounds like you, please do take a look at our elopement FAQ for a fuller picture of what we
can create together.
Do you travel for weddings?
Wholeheartedly, yes. The French Riviera and Provence are home to us, and the majority of our photo sessions take place here, but we have always been travellers at heart and we love
nothing more than following you somewhere meaningful to you. We've photographed weddings and celebrations around Europe, Hawai'i, the Caribbean and beyond. Travel costs are always discussed openly and transparently as
part of your quote. If you're planning something somewhere in the world and you'd like us there, please reach out and let's talk.
When should coverage start and end?
We generally suggest starting around 45 minutes before you begin getting dressed, when the morning still has that quiet, unhurried feeling that photographs so beautifully. From there we
stay with you through the ceremony, the celebrations, and well into the evening. We'll look at your timeline together and give you honest guidance on where the natural stopping points are, making sure the most important moments of your day are always well within our coverage.
Are you bilingual?
Yes, completely. Jean-Claude is a native French speaker, born and raised in France, and Anita is fluent in English and comfortable in French. We direct, communicate, and connect in both languages with equal ease, which makes us particularly well suited to the international weddings we so often photograph along the Riviera.< / p >
What happens if one of you is ill or there's an emergency?
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your lives, and we take that weight seriously. In the extremely unlikely event that one of us was unable to attend, the other would
always be there, and we have a close network of trusted photographers in the region we could call on for additional support.Your day would never be left without the coverage it deserves. In all our years of
photographing weddings, proposals and photo sessions, we have never once missed one, and we intend to keep it that way.< / p >
