Sunrise Picnic Proposal in Villefranche-sur-Mer¶
This proposal took place on June 7, 2025, in Villefranche-sur-Mer. O contacted me to organise a private sunrise picnic proposal for his partner, B. Given that June is the height of summer and the French Riviera is typically very busy, sunrise was the ideal choice for a quiet and intimate setting.
Beach Proposal Setup¶
We arrived at the beach early, around 07:00, to prepare the setup. B and O arrived shortly after 08:00, and the beach was still largely empty, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere for the proposal. The picnic included a selection of French pastries, fresh fruits, local snacks, and champagne, allowing the couple to enjoy a relaxed moment together before the photo session.
Villefranche-sur-Mer Photos¶
After the proposal and picnic, we continued with a 30-minute photo session around Villefranche-sur-Mer. We walked through the town and captured images along the waterfront, using the charming streets and colourful buildings as a backdrop. The combination of soft morning light and the quiet town created a natural, serene feel for the photos.
The session concluded around 10.00. The timing, location, and setup worked perfectly, providing both a memorable proposal experience and a beautiful series of images to capture the day. Sunrise proposals on the Riviera, especially in June, remain one of the best ways to enjoy privacy while taking advantage of stunning light and scenery.
