An Evening Couple Session from Hôtel du Couvent to Port Lympia

Beginning at Hôtel du Couvent

This relaxed session with K and A took place in mid-September and began inside the beautiful Hôtel du Couvent, a Luxury Hotel Collection, where they were staying during their time in Nice. Originally founded as a historic convent and carefully restored into a refined boutique hotel, the space blends quiet heritage with elegant Mediterranean design. Soft stone walls, lush greenery, and serene courtyards create a peaceful atmosphere that feels both intimate and timeless, making it a lovely setting for natural photographs.

A Gentle Walk Through the Old Town

After photographing within the hotel, we stepped out for a short walk through the charming streets of the Old Town before continuing toward the port. The warm tones of the architecture and the slow rhythm of the early evening created a calm transition between locations, allowing the session to unfold effortlessly.

Sunset Portraits at Port Lympia

Most of the session took place at Port Lympia, the harbour area K especially loved. Her red dress paired beautifully with the colours of the port, adding a vibrant contrast against the boats, pastel buildings, and glowing evening light. Although we do not photograph here often, the location proved to be a perfect choice, particularly with the soft sunset that appeared that evening.

The shoot ran from 18:45 to 19:30. Despite the short timing, we captured a rich variety of images, resulting in a simple yet elegant gallery that reflects a peaceful summer evening on the Riviera.
