Sunset Photo Session in Nice

I recently photographed Gina and Andrew's post-wedding session in Nice, focusing on a vintage and timeless aesthetic and edits.

We started in Place Masséna, using the black and white checkered ground and red buildings as architectural elements to frame the couple. The formal setting provided strong lines and colours that complemented their wedding attire.

We continued to Promenade des Anglais next.

Moving through Old Nice, the narrow streets and weathered buildings created a naturally intimate setting. The ancient stone and faded pastels enhanced the vintage feel they wanted, while the evening light filtered perfectly between buildings.

At Colline du Château, we captured sunset shots overlooking Nice and the Mediterranean. The elevated position offered panoramic views that served as dramatic backdrops as the light shifted to golden hour.

We walked towards and finished at Port Lympia, using the harbour's boats and reflective water for our final compositions.

The diminishing light created soft contrasts that worked well with their styling and allowed us to get some black and white shots.

Throughout the session, we maintained focus on authentic and candid moments rather than overly posed shots, letting Nice's natural beauty and backdrops enhance their connection.
