Capturing a Heartfelt Proposal with Mediterranean Views in Nice¶
Proposal Planning¶
In early June, B planned a short and meaningful proposal for his partner, E, just before their dinner at Le Plongeoir. The session was designed to be simple and relaxed, lasting only thirty minutes from 17:30 to 18:00.
Proposal Setup¶
We met at one of our favourite viewpoints inside Colline du Château, arriving early to prepare the space. This location faces the lowering sun in the evening, creating a soft golden glow that is especially beautiful for proposals. After about 17:00, the light here becomes warm and flattering, even before true sunset begins.
Proposal Reaction¶
The proposal itself was incredibly emotional. E had no idea what was about to happen, and her reaction was filled with surprise and joy.
We captured the moment naturally, followed by a few portraits in the same location.
Intimate Portraits¶
Then we continued our session nearby among the greenery and scenic paths surrounding the viewpoint.
One of the advantages of this area is the variety of backgrounds available within a very short walking distance, making it perfect for quick sessions.
Because they had dinner reservations shortly after, the shoot ended close to 18:00 so they could head straight to the restaurant. Everything flowed smoothly, creating a calm and heartfelt proposal experience that fit perfectly into their evening in Nice.
