Solo Picnic and Mini Photo Session in the Lavender Fields

Photography Session Planning

T visited the Valensole region for just one day during a solo trip across the South of France. The session took place from 20:00 to 21:30 in a quieter field between Lavandes Angelvin and Valensole, chosen for its calm atmosphere and beautiful views.

Our Picnic Experience

For our picnic and photo session experience, we spend the first hour enjoying the food and atmosphere. After the picnic, we continue onto the short mini photo session. For solo travellers like T, this works perfectly to capture some personal moments without needing a long session.

The Photo Session

T wore a stunning blue dress with a cute hat, which complemented the lavender beautifully. The day was cloudy, so there was no sunset, but the lighting still made the lavender pop. She was very comfortable in front of the camera, and we captured a mix of candid and editorial-style photos.

We took photos in another field across the street as well. We love this location since there’s two fields with very different backgrounds.

The session focused on T enjoying the lavender fields, smiling, and having fun. Using two fields close together allowed us to get a variety of shots within the limited time.
