A Relaxed Morning Couple Session around Nice¶
A Simple Walk Through the City¶
In early September, from 10:00 to 11:15, we photographed V and D during a relaxed morning session in Nice. They simply wanted to stroll through their favourite parts of the city and capture natural, timeless memories together.
With just over an hour, we moved efficiently through several iconic locations while keeping the atmosphere easy and unhurried.
Starting at Place Masséna¶
We began in Place Masséna, one of the most recognisable spots in Nice. The red façades, the famous black and white checkered pavement, and the fountain create a setting that feels French Riviera-esqe. It is a classic starting point and always delivers beautiful, vibrant images that reflect the heart of the city.
The Flower Market and Old Town Charm¶
From there, we passed by the flower market at Cours Saleya. The colourful stalls and lively atmosphere added softness and charm to the session. Even a brief stop here provides a completely different mood compared to the open square of Place Masséna.
We then wandered through the Old Town, where the narrow streets and warm-toned buildings offer a quintessential Nice backdrop. The textured walls, shutters, and hidden corners gave us a variety of intimate and romantic frames as we moved through the area.
Ending Along the Promenade des Anglais¶
To finish, we headed toward the Promenade des Anglais and walked all the way to the eastern end of Nice, near the base of Colline du Château. This area offers one of the best sea views in the city without needing to climb up to the hilltop itself.
Because of the timing of the session, the Mediterranean was an intense, almost unreal shade of blue. The water looked so vibrant it felt almost painted, in the best possible way. We captured the final images there with the sweeping coastline behind them, closing the session with bright, fresh Riviera energy.
It was a simple and joyful morning shoot that perfectly reflected their love for Nice.
