A Sunset Proposal with Friends at Colline du Château, Nice¶

This proposal between I and S took place in late May at Colline du Château in Nice. S wanted something simple, heartfelt, and true to their story, and the presence of close friends made the moment even more meaningful.
A Thoughtful Setup by Friends¶
S and I were travelling in the region for a wedding, and several of their friends happened to be there at the same time. Before the couple arrived, we met with the friends at the viewpoint, where they carefully arranged flower petals along the ground and prepared champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Although we offer proposal decorations, this personal touch from friends felt far more special and intimate. It added warmth and emotion that cannot be replicated.
A Genuine and Joyful Surprise¶
The session was one of our short “We Capture Your Proposal” experiences, lasting from 19:30 to 20:00. As planned, S proposed immediately upon arrival. I was completely surprised, believing they were simply going for an evening walk before dinner.
After the proposal, I changed into a different outfit that she had with her that intended for dinner, and we captured a few additional portraits with the petals, champagne, and strawberries.
The light was soft and beautiful, bright yet gentle, even though sunset would not arrive until later in the evening.
Because the park closes at 20:00, this short timing is essential for proposals at this viewpoint. The brief window creates a calm, private atmosphere that makes the moment feel even more intimate and real.
