Capturing a Summer Sunset Proposal in the Valensole Lavender Fields¶
Proposal Planning¶
In early July, J and K joined us for a sunset session from 20:30 to 21:30. K thought it was just a regular photo session, so to keep the surprise, we started at the Dip Field. The lighting from the setting sun gave a beautiful glow across the lavender, and the dramatic slope of the field made it look like it stretched on forever. We captured a lot of fun and romantic shots here before heading to the main proposal location.
The Proposal Moment at Sunset¶
Next, we moved to the Sunset Field, where Jay planned to propose. The timing was perfect, with the sky glowing pink and orange behind them. J had brought thoughtful props, including a bouquet of 50 roses and a toy engagement ring, which made the moment extra special. He got down on one knee, and the proposal was as magical as it could be.
After she said yes, we took portraits of the couple with the bouquet and the sunset.

We also got close-up shots of the engagement ring, making the most of the golden light and romantic setting.
