Golden Hour Family Session in the Lavender Fields of Provence¶
In early July, from 20:30 to 21:00, we photographed a beautiful family session in the lavender fields at Lavande Angelvin in Valensole, Provence. It was a short sunset session, but the light and atmosphere made it feel incredibly special.
Golden Hour Portraits in the Lavender Fields¶
Golden hour in Valensole is truly magical. As the sun begins to dip behind the hills, the lavender takes on a soft, glowing tone, and everything feels warm and peaceful. The light at this time of evening is gentle and flattering, perfect for family portraits.
Candids and Joyful Emotions¶
This session was with a lovely family and their three daughters. The girls were full of energy and excitement, running between the rows of lavender and laughing together. We captured a mix of candid moments and relaxed portraits, allowing their personalities to shine naturally.
Their parents, A & R shared quiet moments together as well, framed by endless purple fields and the golden Provençal sky.
With the sun setting behind them and the scent of lavender in the air, it created a timeless backdrop for their family memories.
Even in just thirty minutes, sunset in Valensole provides more than enough beauty. It was a joyful, light-filled session that perfectly captured their time together in Provence.
