Portraits around Jardin Exotique¶
In early June, H and S joined us for a morning post-wedding photo session in Èze from 8:30 to 9:30. They had already celebrated their wedding but wanted additional portraits together in a beautiful setting. We went around the town also the Jardin Exotique d’Èze, one of the most scenic spots along the coast.
For anyone considering this location, there is a 200€ photography fee in addition to the standard entrance tickets. Despite the cost, it remains worth it for the panoramic sea views and unique garden setting. It is also one of the few public places in Èze where you can access these views without being a hotel guest.
Soft Light and Quiet Streets¶
The 8:30 start time is ideal for couples who prefer a quieter atmosphere. In the morning, the village feels calm and peaceful, with far fewer visitors. On this particular day, the sky was overcast, which created soft, even lighting.
After the shoot in the village, we went into the garden together.
H and S looked elegant and relaxed as they wandered through the garden paths and stone walkways.
The cloudy conditions gave the photos a gentle, timeless feel. It was a simple, beautiful session in one of the most picturesque villages on the Riviera.
