Romantic Lavender Sunset Couple Session in Valensole, Provence¶
A and Y’s couple session took place on 2 July in the lavender fields of Valensole, during the most beautiful window of the season.
The last week of June through the first week of July is when the lavender is at its fullest bloom, creating soft colour, endless texture, and the perfect setting for romantic summer photographs.
We met in the early evening for a short and simple session from 18:45 to 19:15. Because the shoot lasted only thirty minutes, the light remained consistent the entire time, bathing the fields in a gentle golden glow that felt calm and timeless. The location featured a dramatic natural dip in the landscape, allowing the lavender to stretch endlessly behind them and giving the images a sense of depth and quiet scale.
A and Y were a truly sweet and natural couple in front of the camera, which made the session feel effortless. Even in such a brief window of time, we were able to capture soft, intimate moments surrounded by one of Provence’s most iconic summer scenes.
