Soft Morning Light at the Sunrise Field¶
K and J were travelling through the region and wanted a simple couple session to remember their time in Provence. They chose a morning shoot from 7:00 to 8:00.
At that hour, the light is no longer golden like sunrise, but it is beautifully soft and even. We began in what we call the “Sunrise Field”, where you can see the mountains stretching across the horizon. The lighting was calm and flattering, perfect for relaxed portraits.
We started with couple photographs and then moved into individual portraits of each of them.
A Quick Stop in the Sage Field¶
For our second location, we drove to a nearby sage field. Visually, it is lovely and adds a different texture and tone to the gallery. The only downside is the smell, which is surprisingly strong and slightly reminiscent of armpit. It always makes us laugh.
We stayed there only briefly, about five minutes, just enough to capture a few frames before moving on.
Countryside Lavender and a View of Valensole¶
Next, we crossed a this spot has two rows of olive trees trees, giving it a very countryside feel.
For our final location, we chose one of our favourite fields with a beautiful view of Valensole in the background. It adds depth and context to the images, especially in soft morning light.
