Sunrise Proposal on a Beach in Villefranche-sur-Mer¶
Proposal Planning and Finding the Perfect Spot¶
This proposal was with P and J, who were hoping for a very private and peaceful moment. We chose Villefranche-sur-Mer for the setting, with the proposal planned between 07:30 and 09:00 in early July. This early morning timing is essential at this location, as the beach and surrounding areas become quite busy after 09:00 in the summer months. For couples seeking intimacy and quiet, we always recommend proposing before beachgoers arrive.
Proposal Setup¶
As with all of our proposals, we arrived early and discreetly positioned ourselves in advance near Plage des Marinières, remaining hidden until P and J walked down to the rocky shoreline. When they reached the perfect spot, J proposed, creating a simple yet deeply emotional moment. P was wearing a striking red dress that stood out beautifully against the soft tones of the sea and stone, making the scene feel especially cinematic and memorable.
After the proposal, we captured more photos of them at the proposal spot before moving onto different locations.
Beach Portraits¶
We spent time capturing portraits along the beach, taking advantage of the gentle morning light, which was calm, flattering, and perfectly suited to the quiet atmosphere of the moment.
We then walked slightly further along the coastline to photograph them against a variety of natural backdrops, adding variety to their gallery while keeping the feeling relaxed and authentic.
This was a beautifully simple proposal with no decorations, yet nothing more was needed. The natural scenery, peaceful setting, and emotional connection between J and P created a moment that felt timeless on its own.
