A Ferris Wheel Proposal in Antibes, French Riviera¶
A Meaningful Symbol and Plan¶
This story follows A and M. Ferries wheels were important to them and their story, so M knew that the proposal had to take place somewhere that reflected that part of their journey together. Along the French Riviera, Antibes offered the perfect setting, with a seaside Ferris wheel that made the moment feel both playful and deeply personal.
The Proposal Above the Riviera¶
On Bastille day, the session began at 11:45 and continued until 13:45, creating a relaxed two-hour experience. We quietly captured A and M as they approached and stepped onto the Ferris wheel, with A completely unaware of what was about to happen.
At the top, surrounded by open sky and coastal views, M proposed. The moment was intimate, emotional, and beautifully simple, unfolding naturally in a setting that carried special meaning for them both.
Wandering Through Antibes¶
After the proposal, we continued the session through the streets of Antibes. In mid-July, the town is filled with colour, bright bougainvillea climbing warm stone walls, flowers spilling from balconies, and sunlight reflecting softly through the old streets.
We walked down the waterfront after the old town.
The atmosphere in Antibes felt vibrant and romantic, perfect for relaxed portraits that celebrate the beginning of a new chapter together.
A Two-Hour Celebration¶
With no rush and plenty of time to explore, the full two-hour session allowed space for genuine laughter, quiet moments, and natural connection whilst wandering around Antibes.
