Sunset Luxury Hotel Suite Proposal at Château Eza

This unforgettable proposal between A and K was one of the most elaborate and carefully planned moments we have ever had the honour of capturing. K had been organising every detail for months, creating a complete surprise from beginning to end. A originally believed she was travelling to Nice for a simple weekend with her cousin in early June, but the cousin was never meant to come. When the cousin suddenly had to cancel because of work, K stepped in to join the trip, exactly as he had planned all along.

Throughout their stay, they were based in Monaco, where K had secretly reserved a spectacular surprise for one of the nights: the Suite Médiévale at Château Eza, also known as the presidential suite.

Proposal Setup and Decorations

Earlier that day, we helped prepare the space with an extensive floral and candle installation. Flowers lined the balcony, delicate vases filled the floor, and petals were scattered throughout the room and balcony. We also added candles that created a warm, luxurious glow. The entire setting felt intimate, elegant, and deeply romantic, especially as sunset approached.

Getting the Couple to the Proposal Spot

To keep the surprise believable, my partner approached them outside and pretended to be a photographer offering a casual photo. Coincidentally, something similar had happened the day before with a photographer trying to charge them for pictures, so A was immediately hesitant. K encouraged her to agree, and that small moment of persuasion led perfectly into the reveal. When they were guided into the decorated suite, A was completely overwhelmed with emotion. The proposal was heartfelt, joyful, and beautifully sincere.

After K’s proposal, we took some more pictures on the balcony with the beautiful setting sun. Soft evening light was settling gently over the village.

After our session, private dinner was already arranged for 21:00, waiting for them to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter together. The entire experience unfolded seamlessly from surprise to proposal to quiet celebration, making it one of the most meaningful and beautifully orchestrated moments we have witnessed.
