A Summer Evening Family Session in Villefranche-sur-Mer¶
Session Planning¶
This two-hour family session with J and her family took place on a warm June evening from 19:00 to 21:00. We began near the train station at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the town, a peaceful spot that offered the perfect setting for our first photographs together. It was a calm and relaxed start, with space for the whole family to sit comfortably while we captured natural group portraits.
Old Town Portraits¶
We then continued into the old town, where the colourful buildings and narrow streets created a classic Riviera atmosphere. Here, we captured more group portraits, individual moments, and different family pairings in a relaxed, documentary style.
Our second last stop was a quiet street with a lovely view of the cathedral, Église Saint-Michel de Villefranche-sur-Mer.
Flowers in Bloom¶
June flowers still in bloom created a soft, seasonal backdrop for gentle portraits of each family member.
We finished the session on the nearby steps with a final series of timeless family images, closing the evening in the calm golden light of early summer.
This session was simple, natural, and focused entirely on preserving meaningful family memories during their time on the French Riviera.
