From Misty Èze to a Coastal Beach Proposal in Èze-sur-Mer, South of France¶
Proposal Planning¶
J had originally planned to propose to B in the village of Èze, with its dramatic views over the Mediterranean. However, when we arrived that day, the weather had other plans. The day turned out to be extremely cloudy and misty, with very little visibility of the sea or sky. Because of this, we made a last minute decision to adjust the schedule and move the proposal to Èze-sur-Mer instead.
Proposal Setup¶
We arrived at the beach a little earlier and headed to our favourite section. Once you walk all the way to the eastern side of the beach, you reach an area that is a nudist section. For this reason, we do not recommend daytime proposals or shoots here, as it can be very busy. However, around sunset it becomes very quiet and peaceful. Although this section offers some of the most beautiful views of the entire coastline, which is why we love shooting there in the evening.
Sunset Colours¶
As for the proposal itself, everything went beautifully. J did an incredible job keeping the surprise, and B had no idea it was happening that day. When he proposed, the sun had just gone down, but there was still a stunning glow lingering behind the mountain.
After J's proposal, we stayed in the same location to take a few portraits.
We continued to another area of the beach.
