Luxury Private Proposal at Salon Royal, Château Eza

This unforgettable proposal between S and M took place at Château Eza, in the Salon Royale. M wanted every detail to be perfect, and his level of care and intention made this one especially meaningful for us to capture. He was incredibly detail oriented and had a clear vision for how he wanted the moment to unfold.

We worked closely with a florist in Èze (Mara Ferris) to bring his ideas to life. M selected the Salon Royal balcony as the proposal location. At the time, this balcony was only available in the morning and needed to be cleared by 11:00 so the hotel could prepare for lunch service. We accessed the space at 7:30 to begin setting up and finished the balcony portion of the session at 10:00 before transitioning into the village and garden from 11:00 to 12:00.

The Floral and Decor Setup at Salon Royal, Château Eza

With the florist’s help, we arranged four large floral installations, scattered rose petals leading toward the proposal spot, and large 'Marry Me' letters. Every design element was chosen by M. Our role was simply to help execute his vision and ensure everything was perfectly placed.

M arrived with S around 9:00. When they stepped onto the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean, the scene was set. He proposed surrounded by flowers, soft morning light, and sweeping sea views. S was overjoyed. After she said yes, they celebrated with champagne, hugs, and quiet moments together on the terrace.

Once the proposal and portraits on the balcony were complete, we helped dismantle and clear the setup while they took a short walk nearby.

Wandering Through Èze

Afterward, we explored the village of Èze together for additional portraits. Èze is known for its warm yellow stone walls, narrow cobbled streets, and vibrant bougainvillea that spills over balconies and archways. The architecture feels timeless, and each corner offers a new romantic backdrop.

The soft Mediterranean tones of the village paired beautifully with their happiness. We captured relaxed, joyful images as they wandered through the winding alleyways.

Garden Views to Finish

To conclude the session, we visited the Jardin Exotique d’Èze for panoramic portraits overlooking the coastline. The elevated views from the garden showcase the dramatic cliffs and endless blue sea below.

Despite the stronger midday light, everything came together beautifully. The morning vision M had imagined was fully realized, and the combination of florals, architecture, and sweeping views made this proposal both grand and deeply personal.
