C reached out to plan a very simple and intimate proposal in Nice to his partner, S, choosing a quick session focused purely on capturing the moment itself. We selected a viewpoint at Colline du Château overlooking Port Lympia, one of the most striking coastal views in the city.

Morning Proposal at Colline du Château in Nice

K wanted to plan a proposal in the morning and was specifically looking for a location that would feel private despite it being one of the busiest times of the year. After discussing options, we chose Colline du Château, also known as Castle Hill, focusing on the side of the park overlooking Port Lympia.

Sunrise Beach Post-Engagement Photo Session in Nice

Earlier in the summer, V and J got engaged during a trip to the Dolomites. The proposal was a complete surprise and incredibly romantic, but like many spontaneous moments, it happened without dressed-up photographs to mark the occasion. When their travels later brought them to Nice, they decided it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate their engagement properly with a dedicated photo shoot.

M planned a special and intimate proposal for W at the beautiful Hôtel du Couvent a Luxury Collection hotel in Nice. The plan was carefully timed to fit their morning schedule, ensuring it felt natural and unhurried, with the shoot taking place from 11:45 to 12:45 in early July.

This session took place in late May from 8:45 to 9:45. M wanted to propose to H in a very private, quiet location, so we chose Colline du Château in Nice. For this morning timing, the recommended spot for a proposal is the viewpoint facing Port Olympia, which we used for this shoot.

We had the pleasure of photographing D and F in late May for a relaxed and joyful photoshoot at Coco Beach. Even in bright midday sun, Coco Plage proved to be a fantastic location. The beach is quieter than areas closer to Nice, and there are plenty of shaded spots to keep everyone comfortable.

An Evening Couple Session from Hôtel du Couvent to Port Lympia

This session with K and A took place in mid-September and began inside the beautiful Hôtel du Couvent. Originally founded as a historic convent and carefully restored into a refined boutique hotel, the space blends quiet heritage with elegant Mediterranean design. Soft stone walls, lush greenery, and serene courtyards create a peaceful atmosphere making it a lovely setting for natural photographs.

This was a truly special and unique shoot with one of the youngest babies we have ever photographed. The couple were visiting the French Riviera with their newborn, only a few months old, and wanted to capture this fleeting season of life in two meaningful locations that perfectly aligned with their travel schedule.

This session took place in mid-July, from 17:00 to 18:30. D wanted to propose to C, and we chose Colline de Château in Nice for the location. The timing worked best for their schedule, giving us plenty of daylight while avoiding the harshest shadows.

The couple were travelling together, and the following morning they were heading to Barcelona, so time was limited. Choosing the right location was essential, the viewpoint at Colline du Château overlooking the Promenade des Anglais proved to be the perfect spot.

Surprise Sunset Proposal at Colline du Château in Nice

A wanted to propose to K at a beautiful, romantic location, so we chose the Colline du Château. This spot is ideal for sunset proposals, but note that it closes at 20:00. The best timing is an hour or two before sunset, when the light is soft, warm, and golden.

In early September, from 10:00 to 11:15, we photographed V and D during a relaxed morning session in Nice. They simply wanted to stroll through their favourite parts of the city and capture natural, timeless memories together.

Sunset Post-Engagement Photoshoot in Nice, South of France

In late July, L and H booked a one-hour sunset session from 19:50 to 20:50 while visiting Nice. We began at Place Masséna, which was the perfect starting point. L wore a beautiful red dress that complemented the red façades and the iconic checkerboard paving of the square. The fountain area and surrounding architecture made the colours stand out beautifully in the evening light.

Vintage-Inspired Couple's Photo Session in Nice at Sunset

We started in Place Masséna, using the black and white checkered ground and red buildings as architectural elements to frame the couple. The formal setting provided strong lines and colours that complemented their wedding attire.
